day 3 singapore..
by now I cant imagine asia had much more to say. these first two shows were HEAVY.. but singapore showed em all up.. this is my second time here.
first time inna club.. and steves 432 time here.. he was a bonified star.. we got chased in the hotel lobby type of star! we only had 8 hours here so we had to make it count.. me and steve were on sober fest 2009 so we were battling who can drink more green tea like aging japanese grannys…
this must have bee a tired crowd at the end cause they had their hands in the air for 4 straight hours i swear.. me and steven finally learned how to pop champagne bottles and even DJ an encore…
which we did for way too long… steven had his highest stage dive of the tour and the girls were all super beautiful.. singapore we love you! this is the premier club in asia as far as know! its just jammin
osaka! ok osaka was the first hard core trip.. we had to leava singapore straight after the show and get to osaka jsut before my set.. like 15 minutes.. it was more a festival style as the others were clubs.. but it was the big homies MSTRKRFT and even wil I am..
we got to hang with black eyed peas backstage and taboo and app de app and lil homie DJ poet were so damn happy i felt like i needed something more than green tea to keep up. are they always this happy.. will i am was a pretty good dj.. he played lots of wierd new stuff and rocked his zuper blaq stuff hes done with steve.. including the new lead off single “im in the house” from aoki… i played pon di floor and he was mad cause he wanted to open with it.. in fact peas play pon di floor in their live shows.. those dudes gave me lots of props it was cool to hang back stage.

ok this is 5 show inna row! and its a tuesday! asia do you sleep??!?
tokyoooo hotel. we got 4 days here.. in shubya and we were hangin with soft porn soul brother yunihare.. check the polaroid we got in his studio.. and go buy his boook tokyo amore.. the dude is BIG IN THE GAME..
agiha club is a big deal.. its in the suburbs of tokyo and it fits about 2500 kids and our show (with the homies tittsworth and MSTRKRFT ) was sold out way in advance.. we were excited.. and its didnt dissapoint.. bigger than the rest. the club is something between amnesia in ibiza and a high school gym with wood floors.. all my tokyo homies were here. yunihara san.. tokyo turntablelab yas roger yamaha, odd jobs crew .afra, and revolver crew. the party was jammin and msrfkrt jesse and AL came to Dj a lil in the end and it ended up bein fun .. we finished at & 7 am.
but two days offffffffff
next day i did an instore at turntablelab tokyo.. u know instores are usually lame but japanese wierd energy + bmore club + the shop sells beer = was mad fun. tittsworth came and layed down a set, i got to play my favorite joker and ginz record “re-up” and i hung out with this cute japanese cartoon character named emi matsumoto -(check the pic with shane)
and steve kissed a bulldog named beyonce.
