Love hurts, love stings, love bleeds, love sings. For those who aren’t fans of cliche, sappy Valentine’s Day cards and would rather have something edgy (no pun intended). Hey, a sense of humor is a very sexy asset.

This 6.25” x 4.5” set of 6 screen printed Valentine’s Day cards is designed and printed by me. The art is intentionally distressed for textural purposes. The paper used is archival, off-white/cream and features a two color print on the front and two colors on the inside. The card set comes with matching envelopes, a custom box. The cards are signed on the back in pencil by me.

Support: 140lb board stock. *Typically I’m against re-printing but felt it necessary when realizing I could create a better representation of the original art which was created on a note pad with ballpoint pen. I had always planned on doing this as a large print because the first run was small and only available within a print set featuring around 20 artists. This time around, elements that were left out of the first run were left in. By making this a 3-color print I was able to make this version much more detailed and richer. The varnish layer from the original run has also been changed.
